Thanks for your loving words of support.
Thanks for not walking away at my self pity and anger in the post before last.
Thanks for holding me through this time.
And also thanks to real life friends who sent cards, messages and left wine.
While you do this alone, it does not mean that there aren't people beside you, cheering you on.
Grateful to you.

It's self pity and anger to be sad and angry that your beloved Maya died?
No, that's love.
I just read Maya's story in an earlier post. Sending love and hope across the miles. Thank you for sharing your story:)take care and keep writing your story - I feel honored to be a witness to your journey.
Mrs Spit - you are much kinder on me than you are on yourself.
Here from LFCA and just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you and Maya. Wishing you peace as you navigate life without your beautiful daughter.
Wine? There's wine involved?
You guys are never, ever far from my mind. Ever. (And if I were closer, I'd most certainly have brought wine- and chocolate!)
I feel a special love for maya even though I never knew her. A kinship perhaps.
whatever it is, no need to berate yourself - its not self pity. its grief and missing maya. there is a huge difference.
xx
I agree with Mrs. Spit . . .and with your comment as well.
Why are we not all more gentle with ourselves?
Peace to you.
In our grief we find strength and ... fortunately in this age of the Internet ... friendship and support from all corners.
oxoxoxo, PJ
I missed the self pity part - none there, just grief is what I found. And totally understandable. The anger part too, all grief. The grief seems so overwhelming sometimes. It's bloggy friends like you that help get me through. Hugs.
Hi B, Thanks for the info in your comment on my blog.
How are you doing these days? Any new adventures to beautiful places?
Wanted to let you know that I am always thinking of you...Thank you for sharing Maya with us. I am honored.
You are loved!
B, thank you for your kind and thoughtful comments on my recent post. I am very grateful for your suggestions and intend to put them to use when I come back to these issues in October. I am taking a break for my 2 month final teaching prac, then 2 weeks of holiday in September (Darwin and Bali). I'll be ready for the next round of navel gazing by then!
Just checking in with you. Hope you guys are doing ok, as best as you can be.
